Manu Fortis Cróga King affectionately known as Guinness is the only standing purebred stallion in North America by Braveheart who passed in August 2025. This young and athletic stallion has been out being a breed ambassador since he was 8 months old showing in the FEH, USEF/USHJA hunter breeding, along with starting in the Young Horse Show Program as a 2-year-old. During his 3-year-old year he was the highest place dressage horse out of the program for the 2024 season.
During his inspection in 2024 as a 3yr old he stood at 15.3hh with a 9" bone and a girth of 73".
At the 2024 inspections the inspectors commented on his quick reflexes, good technique, care through the jump chute and earning him a 90 in temperament.
His sire Braveheart was the purebred performance & versatility champion, purebred in-hand reserve champion, & best of the stallion class at the 2011 National IDHSNA Show in Chicago. His dam, Kilbline, was Supreme Show Champion in 2007 and his purebred son, Kilroanan’s Bravado, was Reserve Champion Foal. His daughter, Peaches, out of Kittles Balou xx, competed at PSG level dressage.
His dams sire, Pride of Gloster, is the only RID son of Clover Hill. Over the years Pride of Gloster has been a producer of excellent sport horses and purebreds. His sire, Clover Hill, was one of the most famous stallions to stand in Ireland. He has sired 1,730 registered foals during his lifetime and has been one of the most influential sires of the modern sport horse bloodlines. When he passed, he was the leading sire of Irish show jumpers and was ranked on the WBFSH Leading Sire rankings for show jumping from 1991-2001. He has had a total of 39 offspring compete at the international level for showjumping. Some of his best-known offspring include Boherdeal Clover, Clover Brigade, Clover Boy, Ballyfinn Clover and Carlow Clover.
His lineage also contains some of the best performance lines including O’Leary’s Irish Diamond, King of Diamonds, Ben Purple, Pride of Shaunlara, Glenside, & Skippy as well.
